MMSC Systems Sdn Bhd Establishment

In October 1998 MMSC set up a subsidiary called MMSC Systems Sdn. Bhd. (MMSC Systems) with Paid-Up-Capital of RM446,000 to look into the business of system integration and IT solutions for the Education market. For the few years since its inception MMSC Systems played a supportive role to MMSC, provided the technical support and consultative services for projects that the latter was pursuing. During this time MMSC Systems took the opportunity to enhance its skills set and gained the necessary experiences needed to be a world-class company.

MMSC Systems is specialized in providing products and services that are related to IT solutions, System Integration, Support and Maintenance, Application Development as well as hardware and software solutions. All products and services related to IT solutions, support, technology, application, Internet and infrastructure solutions for the group’s customers are channeled to MMSC Systems.

MMSC System product strategy is "to expand and diversify the products and services by developing End-to-End ICT solution and support team for its customers."

To date, MMSC Systems has successfully developed MyLMS^TM Learning Management Systems, using a popular open source Learning Management Systems and Content Management Systems solutions as the application foundation for the LMS and LCMS requirement.

The base foundation of the MyLMS^TM application has been used in more than 12,599 sites in 156 countries throughout the world. However, MyLMS^TM developed by MMSC Systems has been installed and used at pilot site for evaluation by the MOE of Qatar, Sekolah Islam ADNI Ampang, and Global Environmental Center (GEC) online training program. Efforts to embark on pilot and demo of the MyLMS^TM systems to other private and public schools, government and corporate sectors in Malaysia, Indonesia, and Middle East are on-going by the company.

MMSC Systems is also the application developer of MyLCMS^TM – Learning Content Management System, MySMS^TM – School Management System, MyCMS^TM – Campus Management System and MyDAMS^TM - Digital Asset Management System.

Currently, MMSC Systems is developing skill-based Learning Management System for Smart-K Consortium under the MLVK e-Training Program initiative. This LMS consist of 8 modules which are developed to facilitate the delivery of e-Training Program to estimated 10 million Knowledge-workers by year 2020.
